If you are between two sizes, we recommend sizing down. The skirt has an elastic waistband, so it is easily adjustable. The waistband is covered by the belt, which comes with the skirt.

The length of the dress is 35 inches and is measured from the waist to the bottom of the skirt.

the perfect white skirt

this skirt is absolutely amazing! I refuse to take it off. Can highly recommend, it is worth every penny spent! maybe I’ll recommend sizing down though

I am 5’2” and weight 160. I bought a medium because I wanted to wear it now and hopefully in the future as I lose weight. The waist is elastic and fits perfect right now...snug but not tight. I’m hoping it will still fit as I lose weight. The length is a little long...but I’m short. Although, I could fold the waist over once to shorten it if I want. The skirt is soft and feels lovely against the skin. I feared that you could see right through it in the sunlight... but it turns out that the lining provides just enough coveage.

This white skirt is a must!!!

Never have I put on a skirt on that feels and looks so perfect! It arrived quickly (3 days to the UK) and it is the perfect length, size and texture. It's extremely soft and flows beautifully. I'm definitely going to buy another one of these skirts in a different color!

This is a really cute & comfortable skirt. Came a bit wrinkled which is expected. So easy to just throw on and go. Material is thick linen. It’s a smidge tight around the waist.

The Inspiration

Billing “Roman Holiday” as ‘a great classic’ is by no means an overstatement. Directed by William Wyler, it’s Audrey Hepburn’s first role for which she won an Oscar in 1953. The costume design for this film was put together by none other than the famous Hollywood costume designer, Edith Head. Rose-tinted nostalgia lends a romantic charm to her designs, which come with a distinctive 50’s flavour. The outfit that served as the poster look of the film consisted of a white button-down shirt, striped silk scarf and a midi-skirt cinched at the waist with a belt. Vogue magazine described the look as the “embodiment of our new feminine ideal” which established Hepburn’s enduring legacy as a fashion maven.
